The preferred method of reporting bird bands is to call 1-800-327-BAND (2263) from anywhere in Canada, the United States, and most parts of the Caribbean. The operator will need to know the band number and how, when, and where the bird or band was found.   If you believe that you have identified a bird disease problem, report it to the National Wildlife Health Lab in Madison, Wisconsin at (608) 264-5411.
